PUMA ROADHOUSE - PARKING AREA AND DRIVEWAYS

JAK Civil was engaged to complete the parking and driveway area to enable safe entry and exit to and from the service station, and provide additional parking facilities. Working closely with MRWA and adhering to stringent quality specifications, JAK Civil completed the works whilst the service station remained open and accessible to the public.
AUSTRALIND SKATE PARK

JAK Civil were proud to be involved in the Skatepark community project, donating $15,000 to their efforts.
In addition to the construction of all the reinforced concrete furniture for the Skate Park, the project also involved the earthworks and installation of required services.
JAK Civil successfully completed the scope within the required timeframe delivering a recreational space widely enjoyed by the whole Australind community and its young people.

TREENDALE ESTATE

JAK Civil has been the major civil contractor in the development of the Treendale Subdivision over the entire length of the project, some 15 years. JAK Civil have worked closely with the owners to build a community to be proud of, and Treendale is a great example of the high standard of quality civil workmanship achievable by the JAK Civil team. The now burgeoning suburb represents one of the best in the region.
OPAL DRIVE SEWER PRESSURE MAIN

JAK Civil were engaged on this project, a three month collaboration with Water Corporation which required 3km of pipework to be installed and removal of a failing pressure main in a prestigious residential area in Australind. Traffic management and liaison with residents presented challenges, with concerns over primary school and home owner access, damage to buildings and Shire bus timetables all successfully negotiated. Once the works were completed, JAK Civil reconstructed the road and restored the landscaping.
SOMERVILLE DRIVE / ROBERTSON ROAD INTERSECTION UPGRADE

JAK Civil were contracted for the civil works for this joint venture project with a superintendent on site working with two representatives from Main Roads and City of Bunbury. The project was environmentally sensitive, which necessitated the presence of environmental monitors on site. Included in the works schedule were the relocation of fauna and dieback control, with controls and issues needing considered and successful negotiations with multiple stakeholders and the community.
PORT OF BUNBURY BERTH 5 REDEVELOPMENT

JAK Civil were contracted by Bunbury Port Authority to upgrade Berth 5 at the Port, a project which included forming a concrete deck over the existing berth, drainage, road works, earthworks and demolition. Working within marine timetables, scheduling work to not disrupt traffic, and working in a marine environment close to water involving maximum safety requirements, heights and a lifesaver were some of the specialised aspects of this project. JAK Civil worked with other contractors on the high-pressure removal of the existing deck.
