Aboriginal Workforce Development
Aboriginal workers make up 15 per cent of the Hovey Group workforce – and we are proactive about providing our Aboriginal employees with the best opportunity to succeed. JAK Civil is an employer of choice of the Aboriginal community, with numerous employees beginning their Civil Construction career as a result of our relationships with employment providers, Aboriginal businesses, education centres and language centres.
JAK Civil ensure all of our employees gain a greater awareness and understanding of Aboriginal culture through Cultural Awareness Training. This training is included as part of each employee’s induction.
